Must Visit Korean Drama Filming Locations (Updated 2020)
Before loving KPop, we fell for South Korea because of the birth of Koreanovelas or Korean Dramas in Philippine television. And part of my plans during my trip is to visit some of the memorable filming locations that Korean Drama addicts like me know.
Here are some of the places that were engraved in our mind and heart along with the beautiful story of each drama.
N Seoul Tower
N Seoul Tower (formerly known as NamSan Tower) is a must-visit site in Seoul. This is perfect place to have a spectacular panoramic view of Seoul under your feet.

Seoullo 7017 is former highway overpass turned into a new pedestrian walkway. The path, which is about one kilometer in length and lined with 24,000 plants, is similar to New York City's High Line.

Marronnier Park
Marronnier Park was given its name due to the marronnier trees, or horse chestnut trees, growing within the area. A location where Seoul National University's College of Liberal Arts & Science and School of Law once stood, it is now a park dedicated to culture and art open to the public. In addition to a variety of outdoor performances that take place throughout the area, exhibitions and cultural centers create a romantic atmosphere unique to the park.

Shinsegae Department Store
The main branch of Shinsegae Department Store currently stands where Korea's first department store, the Japanese Misreukkosi Department Store, used to be in the 1930s. After undergoing remodeling in 2007, it reopened as a luxury hall, featuring diverse brands ranging from the top three international luxury brands to new designer brands.
Meanwhile, Trinity Garden and the art gallery at the department store provide a cultural space that promotes a new lifestyle combining shopping and arts. In addition, its location in central Seoul offers plentiful sightseeing opportunities with easy access to such tourist attractions as Namsan Mountain and Namdaemun Market.

This impressive Neo-Baroque building was built as a home for Heungseon Daewongun's grandson, Yi Jun-yong. When he died, it was taken over by Prince Yi Wu, who would be killed during the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It's now an office for Duksung Women's University's continuing education program.

On the grounds of Choong Ang High School, located in corner of Gye-dong in Bukchon, there is an old antique-looking building that seems to have been frozen in time since Bukchon first established. The school was founded by patriots at the end of the Korean Empire, when Japan clearly expressed its intention to invade the nation.

Hangang Park is a representative people’s park located by Hangang River (한강). It was created through the “Hangang River Comprehensive Development Project” in the 1980s, covering a huge area that is dedicated to the citizens, providing areas for sports and relaxation. You can see many people strolling or jogging along the trail paths, in-line skaters, bicyclers, and soccer fields or basketball courts.
Banpo Bridge, the upper half of a double deck bridge, is one of the major bridges in central Seoul that crosses the Han River. It is mostly known for its Rainbow Fountain, the largest bridge fountain in the world. 200 light spots color the fountain after sunset.

Gwanghwamun Square is a 600-year-old historic city that features King Sejong the Great and Admiral Yi Sun-Shin.
On August 1st, 2009, the redesigned Gwanghwamun Square opened to the public. Bukchon Hanok Village
The name Bukchon, which literally translates to “northern village”. Today, many of these hanoks operate as guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture.
