Squad Goals: Barkada Getaway and Marriage Proposal in a day (Mt. Talamitam and Layong Bilong River)

It's true. You can't do epic shit with basic people. You have to be with those people who get it. This is our squad, The Workaholics. When everybody else is sleeping, we are not.

Came November 2016, one of our friends initiated a plan of asking for a place where to buy engagement rings. From there, all of us decided to have a Christmas Party-slash-Barkada Getaway on December 16.

With 800 per head contribution, we contacted our friend Kuya Bert, a local tour guide from Nasugbu to arrange our itinerary. Little did our friend know that this will be semi engagement party as well.

Everything was well prepared, from venue and food down to equipment for camping and documentation. Join us as we share this out-of-the-box idea of intimate wedding proposal within an outing and party.

Be a kid and try these natural water slides.

And if you're brave enough, try cliff diving for an almost 20 meter drop.

Set up your Do-It-Yourself (DIY) outdoor cinema.

Have a boodle fight kind of dinner.

Never miss out cooking hot dogs with marshmallows on a bonfire.

Have a simple exchanging of gifts.

Proceed to the plan of surprise marriage proposal.

Distract the prospect by flying the drone.

All eyes on the moment of popping the question.

It was an overall successful plan of ending our day with a BIG YES!

At exactly 12 midnight, the stars and the bright moon witnessed this one-of-a-kind marriage proposal. All we have to do is wait for the wedding and cry bucketful of tears.
