Quick Escape from the Heat with the Family in Tagaytay
Love is spelled as T.I.M.E.. And when it comes to love, second to God is our family. There may be problems faced but all of these will be solved if we have constant people beside us. Even if we're busy, we always find time to be with our family. For 2017, we opted to stay indoors rather than be out and suffer under the scorching heat of the sun.
The best solution I shared to my siblings was to book a unit thru Airbnb. I found a cheap yet cozy place in Tagaytay City worth PhP 3,263 for six people (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14066820). I was so lucky to book a unit owned by a superhost. Miss Maria Lourdes is so accommodating. She answered all my queries and even resolved an issue days before our booking. It's definitely worth our money.
Aside from that, her unit in Cityland (Tagaytay Prime Residences) is close to the Rotonda that after we made an exit from the Brgy. Sampaloc, Talisay, Batangas we saw the building and saved time from the harsh traffic of Tagaytay City. We checked in at 2pm but we could have been earlier if the road we took was not far from the place since we went all the way from San Luis, Batangas. We spent nearly two hours to get there via Agoncillo-Talisay way.
Here is what the unit exactly looks like from the photos posted in Airbnb. I can say that the unit is cute and family friendly. It's located on the sixth floor but actually on the third one from the parking area.
We assigned our positions when we arrived. My siblings, auntie and I stayed in this room while my father and mother used the sofa bed on the photo above for personal reasons. My mother needed to easily go to the comfort room and it's the easiest way.
Our family enjoyed watching classic Pinoy movies of Sharon Cunera, Vilma Santos and FPJ thru PBO. The old ones really preferred the cable channels rather than the movies stored on the USB.
The comfort and wash rooms are so cute.
The room is equipped with fast wireless fidelity and digital lock system.
We loved the vibe of the unit so we flooded our phones with our family groufies.
After that, we decided to have a quick grocery trip to Puregold to buy something to cook for our lunch, dinner and breakfast.
The place is so convenient if you want to roam around. It is near to many cafe and grocery stores.
We ate our late lunch at 3pm and went directly to the 24th floor to view the Taal Lake and Volcano and also witness the beautiful sunset. We're so playful that we always have ourselves alone in the elevator, so we took plenty of groufies.
And here is a bunch of photos with the famous view in Tagaytay.
We had our precious one hour at the roof deck. Family time is always a good time.
We took some rest and then we had dinner and snacks afterwards.
I was so proud that my family liked my beef nachos and ate it until nothing was left.
We woke up as early as 6 am to supposedly view the sunrise but laziness struck us. So, what I did was cook for my family a simple breakfast.
At 8 am, we went down at the 3rd floor to enjoy the playground and swimming pool til 10 am.
My sister's Go Pro Hero 5 was used on our whole vacation. The results are stunning that I need not edit it before posting.
While we we're swimming, the oldies went outside to buy plants. Our car trunks was filled with plants on our way back home. We did not complain since these gave joy to them. We were so happy for the quality time we spent there. Family time is really a must. The time to talk and share stories and laughter cannot be replaced by any material things.
I'm so happy to have initiated this trip with my siblings. We'll try to upgrade this from time to time. We feel pressured every time we discuss our house renovations but we'll get there eventually.
For now, thanks Cityland for being a part of our family's happy memories.
Cheers to more road trips and adventures with our family!
