Winter in Korea Day 5: Incheon International Airport

We were all set to go back to the Philippines. We had enough rest since we slept for 11 hours so we can gain energy for work on the next day. We felt so refreshed and our host family even helped us to have our memorable fifth day in South Korea.

Ate Myrna and Chynna accompanied us and even bought us lunch in Lotteria on our last day. We were already excited to have another trip there and Ate Myrna promised us that her home is always open for us to visit. We also promised Chynna that when we return, we will be able to converse with her in Korean language so we can enjoy our time together.

This is the last view of Sangil-dong before we head back to Manila. We were tempted to go on sledding but we ran out of time.

At 1pm, Ate MJ and our kumpare, along with our god children, helped us with our luggage and even dropped as off in the airport bus stop in Godeok. There, we waited for airport bus 6200 to bring us to Incheon Internation airport.

When we arrived at the airport at 2pm, we checked in so we will have time to roam around the airport.

While walking around, we saw fans who were waiting on a cafe on the 4th floor. There we saw some players of Doosan Bears.

We figured out that they are really famous since Koreans love watching baseball games. Upon research, we found out that The Doosan Bears are a professional baseball team based in Seoul, South Korea. They are a member of the KBO League. They're winners of last year's competition.

We grabbed some photos online since we saw them by accident and we never noticed that we're walking beside their ace players.

Our next spot was the arrival area at the ground floor. We saw fan boys and girls holding bazooka lens. I told my sister that we must wait for the coming of Kpop idols. After a few minutes, we saw SNH48.

SNH48 (S.N.H. Forty-eight) is a Chinese idol girl group based in Shanghai, China. Following AKB48's creator Yasushi Akimoto's concept of "idols you can meet", the group features dozens of female members around the age of 20, who perform regularly in the group's own theater and interact with fans predominantly via handshake events. The group is owned by Chinese companies NineStyle and Star48.

This group gained popularity in South Korea because the group, along with iKon, mentored by Psy in the show, House of Remix, Chinese sing and dance reality television competition.

Afterwards, we just walked around and saw different cafes and stores around.

Tourists may also enjoy the indoor ice skating rink there.

Or, they can have a free medical check up.

And when be entered the boarding gate, we saw duty free stores of different kinds.

There are also areas for relaxation and computer use.

These are only a few things that a tourist can enjoy in Incheon International Airport.
We enjoyed our time there. This airport is one of the best in the world and we can attest to that.
And also, it is the perfect place to stalk your favorite Kpop idols.
